Nordy Neutrals

In my continued coverage of the beloved/def hated Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I'd like to report on some neato neutrals I think you'd enjoy! I really love the sort of goldenrod-y color I've been seeing lately, I think it's a nice color but can still play a kind of neutral role. I got these shorts earlier this summer in the "Greek Gold" color (and like three others) and have been living in them. (Hashtag elastic waistband). Another staple is the Madewell oversized denim jacket (pictured top left), I would make the case that it can be worn with almost anything you own. It is the Perfect throw on item, even in the hot summer I like to have something to cover my shoulders if I'm going to a restaurant or a movie. It's perfectly broken in and I think the oversized fit is a nice update. (You can also get it here if it sells out at Nordstrom.) I am not typically a culottes kinda person but I do love these windowpane plaid ones by Sea - I like the oversized cuff. Don't forget the Nordstrom sale is still in it's "Early Access" phase, meaning you can only snag stuff at the sale prices if you have a Nordstrom card (you can get one here)!
