Georgia Bound

Via Carolina Prep

Down in Athens for the weekend to take in some tailgating! I do not endorse the 'Dawgs (they're not very nice to Clemson fans), but I do respect their dedication to game day dress. Some Georgia-inspired red and black looks for ya!

Valentino Anyone?

Via The Blonde Salad
I'm sure by now you've seen the Valentino studded and strapped heels. They're surprisingly versatile: from skinny jeans to cocktail parties, they are totally fair game. I especially lust after the red pictured above.

Via The Fancy
For considerably less you can get the look with the Schutz (new favorite shoe brand) version. The black is a great way to mix up your basic black pumps. They did a version of the flats too, but unfortunately they already appear to be sold out. (They were under $50!!!!)

Do You Want This?

Guess what peeps? You can win this monogram necklace (as seen styled a billion ways on Atlantic Pacific) from Charlotte's. Check our Facebook page to see how you can enter! The winner will be picked on Friday!

Eye Candy

Just some eye candy for your Monday morning. Sigh.

Friday Faves

Alexis Bittar Siyabona Panther earrings. Mrowr. Love these.

Rebecca Taylor Crocodile Blouse. What can't you wear this with?

Tibi Paloma Skirt. Fly away little birdie! I love this print from Tibi, the skirt has a peplum with POCKETS!!!

Camilla and Marc Castle Jumpsuit. I. Just. Love. This is one of my favorite shades of pink. Sweet and delicate.

More pink to close it out. Marchesa Notte strapless silk in "blush". That little peep of sequin is the icing on top.

Akola Project

Check out these gorge Akola Project necklaces from Moon & Lola; the necklaces are handmade by Ugandan women are trained by the organization in an attempt to uplift the women and their families out of poverty and into steady, gainful employment, and hopefully better lives. Don't you just want all of them? The necklaces are from $38-78, and are actually hand-rolled paper beads! Love them, and love doing something good.

Birchbox: Know It, Love It

I am, in NO way, a product or beauty guru. I am into things that make me look better, but it's definitely not my main obsession (which is clothes, obviously). However, after finding Birchbox I may end up becoming a product junkie. Every month they send a pretty little box stuffed with generous samples of, like, everything, beauty related. My September box had Bascia face cream, one of those hair ties everyone has been crazy about (I wore it last night, they actually are pretty cool), face cleanser, a perfume sample, a toiletries travel bag, a Madewell coupon; you get my drift. It's like getting a present. Just a little something to brighten your day. It's perfect for people like me that don't want to seek out products, and then, when I find one I like, I can just pop on to the Birchbox website and order. They've got a gabillion (it's a word) other beauty products as well. On the other hand, it's great for people who ARE obsessed with products, you always get to try something new.

Welly Warmers

Love the moto-inspired look of this sweater jacket. If you've already got Hunter Welly Boots, you need to know about the Welly SOCKS (see fuzzy option above). Fall Shoot Peek!

Wanted to give y'all a sneak peek of some of the Fall looks from the upcoming Metro fashion spread. Stay tuned for more!

Print Safari

My heart did a pirouette when I saw this graphically toile-d (no I don't think that's a word) Suno dress. A closer look at the print leads your eyes on a "Where's Waldo" type safari: elephant, man walking dog, possible kangaroo sighting. The shape of the dress on its own is enough for me to fall in love (pockets!!!); add in some print whimsy and I'm ready to make it official.

Jewel Tones + Animal Prints

Here's another dose of the gorgeous jewel-toned green that is everywhere for Fall. I love this classic Elizabeth McKay dress paired with the Helen Too leopard flats from Kate Spade. There's something super-effective about pairing leopard or an animal print with a more conservative shape in a solid color. All available at Monkee's Chapel Hill!

Elizabeth McKay Green Pleated Dress $282
Kate Spade Lacey Wallet $228
W & M Gold Dogwood Earring $59
Kate Spade Helen Too Flat $235
Tory Burch Tortoise Shell Sunglasses $149
