I just can't stop with the florals can I? This weather is tripping up all of my Spring dreams. When the lovelies at Plum Pretty Sugar put me on to their collection for bridal mecca BHLDN, I was totally sold. Their exclusive BHLDN collection is like a walk through the garden. The three prints for the line feature hand-painted florals on their über-soft and feminine cotton robes and PJ sets. Totally for the romantic hearts. They make for really lovely bridesmaid gifts and are great bridal gifts too. They even come in sets based on your numbers for easy ordering! I can't think of anything prettier in which to luxuriate and lounge about. (And make for cute pics: evidence here and here.) My personal faves are the Breezy Bloomfall Shortie Set in the "Viviette Encounters a Lark" print, the long Kimono Robe in the "Calliope Beneath the Stars" print and the Breezy Bloomfall Pant Set in "Imogen Whisked Afloat". Even the prints sound romantic! Shop the collection here and here.

Birchbox: Know It, Love It
I am, in NO way, a product or beauty guru. I am into things that make me look better, but it's definitely not my main obsession (which is clothes, obviously). However, after finding Birchbox I may end up becoming a product junkie. Every month they send a pretty little box stuffed with generous samples of, like, everything, beauty related. My September box had Bascia face cream, one of those hair ties everyone has been crazy about (I wore it last night, they actually are pretty cool), face cleanser, a perfume sample, a toiletries travel bag, a Madewell coupon; you get my drift. It's like getting a present. Just a little something to brighten your day. It's perfect for people like me that don't want to seek out products, and then, when I find one I like, I can just pop on to the Birchbox website and order. They've got a gabillion (it's a word) other beauty products as well. On the other hand, it's great for people who ARE obsessed with products, you always get to try something new.

Boho Chic: Pucci
I have spent most of my morning deciding if it is a pool day or not; the clouds are being particularly fickle today. In between these stop and go thoughts I have, for some reason, been on a cyber-Pucci hunt resulting in some really mind-bogglingly stunning images. I share them with you, and hope they make you feel as lightheaded as I do. It's too much.

Nautical Knits
The official kickoff to beach season is only a few short weeks away and it's time to make preparations for such a serious event. For my part, I am committing myself to as much Pure Barre as they will allow me to do, a ban on carbs, and getting a new bathing suit. On the short list is one of my absolute all-time favorites: Missoni Mare. I'm a fan of Missoni in general, but there is something so luxurious about their swimsuits that is just on another level. I don't know if it's the price tag or the warning label telling you to do nothing but essentially sit and look pretty whilst wearing your Missoni swimsuit-two things that should scare me off-but I continue to be obsessed.

Cushnie Et Ochs
Two Parsons alums teamed up for this up-and-coming line. It's only a few seasons old but it's gotten a lot of attention from such high ranks as the CFDA, Vogue, W Magazine-you get it, all the important people. The shapes are super-body conscious with sexy details-never going too far, but definitely attention grabbing. These looks are from the Cushnie et Ochs Resort '13 collection that's on Moda Operandi now (27 looks, getting close to perfection), and showcases the wide range the line covers: prim to sexy, peekaboo to full coverage. The white dress below is just about my favorite thing.
Possibly my favorite thing ever.
Gorgeous coral, demure and classic.
Pleated LEATHER skirt, the drapey blouse is amazing.

All That Glitters
What's one of my favorite things? Vintage costume jewelry! Yayyyy! Vermillion in Raleigh is having their Spring trunk show this week starting on Wednesday (May 9th) and running through Saturday. I can't tell you how overwhelming the trunk show is. There are so many sparkly, colorful baubles-I start to get nervous. But they also have some more deco-disco-sleek pieces too, that are to die for, I just love how the sparkly stuff tickles my senses like champagne bubbles. Check out more of the sneak peek on the Vermillion Facebook page.

Sunday Funday
Sunday rituals: we've all got them. One of mine is the Amazing Roll from Haru and my TV lineup. There's simply nothing better than pigging out on one of these while basking in the glow of HBO and a glass of red wine. Haru is tucked next to perennial neighborhood fave Glenwood Grill, and lacks anything resembling atmosphere, and has the distinction of having hardest-working yet somehow most inefficient service (but Lord knows they're sweet). All of that said Haru has the BEST sushi in town, which cancels out the aforementioned issues.

Katie Ermilio
![]() |
via Raneytown
Some of you have already heard me gushing about Katie Ermilio's Spring collection. It would probably be accurate to say that I have been utterly obsessing over it. Katie is the granddaughter of the dude that designed probably one of the most iconic blazers in history, the green jacket of Master's fame. (Fitting that I should post about her this week, eh?) He was also Grace Kelly's personal clothier and her father owned a custom clothing store. Katie Ermilio's fashion roots run deep. Her classic tailoring with an eye for detail and color are what appeal to me so strongly. Her lines are clean, but the details and color palette are what really grab your attention. These are some of my favorite looks, but I would literally buy every single piece. (It was actually in my budget spreadsheet entitled "If I Win Friday's Lotto".) (Back to the drawing board.) Even the electric blue, presumably cashmere, body suit. I don't know what I'd do with that but I'd find a way. As most of you know I'm a huge supporter of shopping locally, and the only place I know to shop for Katie Ermilio is Morgan Kylee in ATL. Check it out if you are not familiar, they carry some tougher to find labels you will love! You must get in touch with Morgan (who is so nice and obviously has an exceptionally stylish eye), I'm sure none of these looks will last long. I could look at these pictures all day. I hope you obsess too!
