Turkish Delight

Want. Part towel, part blanket; turkish towels are a grand addition to your bathing or snuggling situation. They're ultra absorbent but are great as throws or scarves too! I love these colors. I want to eat them. This one is actually Turkish (as in, from Turkey), but click here for my favorite domestic brand!

On My List: Bissell & Blaise

Bissel & Blaise Chevron Ring
Bissell & Blaise Deco Chevron Ring
I was put on to Bissell & Blaise at a dinner with some family friends and I couldn't wait to share! This gorgeous fine jewelry line was launched in 2011 by two friends and native Southerners, Lindsay Bissell and Anna Blaise Dunbar. Their love of art deco design is apparent; I feel like their pieces are simultaneously vintage and modern. They also do custom! I really feel strong emotions towards the chevron ring (above). It's all gorgeous and really unique AND it's made in NYC. #USA Check out the full collection here. Can't wait to see what they do next!

Spring Green

Maison Madeleine Crossbody In Bright Green Clare V
Maison Madeleine Crossbody

YAY! Spring Green and it's not pollen! This bag fills many of my favorite handbag requirements: it's crossbody, it's big enough for my stuff, has pockets and it is an adorable color. OH! And it has a tassel. Love tassels. The Maison Madeleine bag from Clare V is a top contender for new bag of the season. Just in time for St. Patty's-luck of the Irish ladies!
(I'm also digging the Loeffler Randall Marmy scalloped sandals they are showing it with below)

When Plum Pretty Sugar Met BHLDN

I just can't stop with the florals can I? This weather is tripping up all of my Spring dreams. When the lovelies at Plum Pretty Sugar put me on to their collection for bridal mecca BHLDN, I was totally sold. Their exclusive BHLDN collection is like a walk through the garden. The three prints for the line feature hand-painted florals on their ├╝ber-soft and feminine cotton robes and PJ sets. Totally for the romantic hearts. They make for really lovely bridesmaid gifts and are great bridal gifts too. They even come in sets based on your numbers for easy ordering! I can't think of anything prettier in which to luxuriate and lounge about. (And make for cute pics: evidence here and here.) My personal faves are the Breezy Bloomfall Shortie Set in the "Viviette Encounters a Lark" print, the long Kimono Robe in the "Calliope Beneath the Stars" print and the Breezy Bloomfall Pant Set in "Imogen Whisked Afloat". Even the prints sound romantic! Shop the collection here and here.

Gold Touches

I think gold and brass have really made a strong case for a comeback in the last two years. Now the trend is popping up in places I thought we'd never see it again: faucets and kitchen|bath trims. Bananas right? If you'd asked me a few years ago I'd have sqwunched (it's a word) up my face and referenced the 70s/80s. In a bad way. But the fixtures of today have a sleek and modern feel to them; even when they're on the more romantic end of the spectrum. It can add a little unexpected glamour. Would you use gold or brass? I would. I think. (And then I'd tell you to come back and ask me again in 20 years.)
