Caroline Ceramics is a favorite around these parts, and as we head towards a weekend of holiday shopping lunacy, I'd like to point out that you could save yourselves the headache and shop Caroline's website from the comfort of your couch. Her pieces are stunning and most definitely keepsakes; they are also handmade right here in Raleigh, NC (and we can all thank her new husband for being able to claim her)! Her beautiful, simple roses also come with an added bonus: 30% of the sales from the "Abby Roses" will go to the Raleigh Rescue Mission. Don't forget this Saturday is Small Business Saturday, so make sure to visit your favorite local spots! Look out for another shop local/shop small post coming soon!

You can go far with $100 these days. Fun fact: the first 3 of these items are monogrammable, this almost became the monogram gift guide. Or maybe it's the Under $100/Monogrammable Gift Guide? Ugh. Marquin Designs
Deep Blue by Marquin Campbell |
I have been meaning to post this for months! I recently won a FB giveaway from Marquin Designs (which goes to show ya-share those posts!) and was like, euphoric, because what is better than winning a piece of ART?? Nothing. I love Marquin's vivid abstracts; my piece is pictured directly below and has little streaks of gold woven throughout. (Amazingly it matches the gold flecks in our laminate countertop-actually making the countertops tolerable...hee...) Marquin hails from Savannah, graduated from UGA and landed in Greenville, SC, where she owns Vino & Van Gogh Art Studio and Yard Art. In addition to her painting and drawing talents, she also makes beautiful jewelry. You can shop her work online (hello holiday shopping!), or she does commission work as well!

Star Bright!
Y'all already know how much I like Clare Vivier's clutches, and I am super excited about her new star print fold over. I love the smatterings of tiny stars and the added texture of the grosgrain tassel detail. Shopbop has it in lovely winter white, navy, and gray. It's a perfect topper to a holiday cocktail outfit!

More Sparkle!
There's so much bling in Raleigh this week I may go blind! Fleur is hosting an Elizabeth Cole trunk show through Friday, and these are just a small selection of bejeweled goodness in store for shoppers. I LOVE this line. Add some sparkle to your holiday gear! AND, check Fleur's Facebook page, they are giving away $100 to shop the trunk show to one lucky lady!
Bauble Time
It's that time again! Carole Tanenbaum vintage jewelry is pulling into Vermillion this week for a trunk show-perfect time to pick out some holiday bling! As you all have probably figured out, my favorites are always the really big shiny pieces! Other staples include amazing Studio 54-worthy baubles, as well as more traditional (Chanel & Miriam Haskell pearls) and simple vintage designs. One thing I always marvel at is the craftsmanship that went into costume jewelry in previous generations. Check out the latest finds this week (Wednesday & Thursday) at Vermillion!
