If you read any style blogs you'll have already heard of Marysia Swim. I'm a big fan as well. Her palettes and prints are always adorable, and whatever fabric blend these suits are made out of is sprinkled with fairy dust. There's no pinching or squeezing! The Resort '15 line is over on Moda Operandi right now. I love it. And the best part of ordering on M.O. is that you split up the payment. It makes the spending part of shopping so much less painful. These are my faves-that pink maillot is MINE!

I'm sooo sorrryyyy I've been away for so long! (I'm sure you care.) It's that time of year: weddings, parties, distracting sunshine and warm temperatures. I thought you guys might enjoy this little number from the Stella McCartney Resort '14 collection? I ♥ it. (Get it?) It's a fun look, and each piece is great on its own. RUN, do not walk...Moda Operandi is having some insane sale, it's like someone really drunk started marking things down. These snakeskin Rockstuds from Valentino are essentially half-off. Surfer chic: what surfer girl wouldn't want a stylish wetsuit? This polka dot version from Cynthia Rowley (available on pre-order now at Moda Operandi) is perfect for hanging ten and looking good. Don't make fun of my surfer references. I've extensively researched this topic. Read: I've seen lots of surfing movies.  

Lobster claw. I have a "vintage" Tibi dress with a zebra galloping across the front. A great shape really similar to this one, and ya know what? It makes me smile. I feel like I have a buddy getting me through the day. Me and my zebra. Kickin' tail. The lobster is Tibi Resort (also on pre-order now), and should totally be a part of your long-range shopping plan.

Ann Keane's "Faith and Desire" as shown in a pretty sick Isle of Palms home from Charleston Magazine's August issue. Check out that link to take a tour, it will probably mostly just make you sad though. 

I LURVE this Shoshanna shirtdress from Fleur. The pleating detail is adorable, and it is a great transition piece. They've also paired it with a necklace from Balboa, one of my favorite jewelry lines by Jane Pope Cooper. 

Speaking of which, I absolutely adore the Trillion Branch ring from JPC (Jane Pope Collection-Balboa's sister line). I love the earthiness of the setting and the honey tones, combined with the clean angles of the citrine. All of the JPC line is sick-not to mention she does custom work as well...trouble....

Cushnie Et Ochs

Two Parsons alums teamed up for this up-and-coming line. It's only a few seasons old but it's gotten a lot of attention from such high ranks as the CFDA, Vogue, W Magazine-you get it, all the important people. The shapes are super-body conscious with sexy details-never going too far, but definitely attention grabbing. These looks are from the Cushnie et Ochs Resort '13 collection that's on Moda Operandi now (27 looks, getting close to perfection), and showcases the wide range the line covers: prim to sexy, peekaboo to full coverage. The white dress below is just about my favorite thing.

Quadrille

I was overwhelmed by color and pattern when I walked into Fleur. I am somewhat color/textile obsessed, so walking into the Quadrille trunk show was like sensory overload for me. Quadrille is well-known for their beautiful fabrics which grace some of the most fabulous homes, but are less known for their beautiful apparel collection. Today is the second and last day of the trunk show, and it is well-worth a drop in. They have everything from shorts (long and short!!!) to beautiful jackets to maxi dresses in an expansive array of colors.   It screams beach or tropical vacation. What makes things really brain-busting is that you can order anything IN anything! As in, mix and match, pick your style, pick your fabric. The possibilities are endless, which, obviously, sends me into a tailspin. One of the best buys is the collection of travel bags (pictured down there) which come in a gabillion (technical term) different colors and patterns and would make a great gift. Not to mentioned they are super well-lined in bright colors, making cleaning easy.
