Novel | Furbish | Pop-Up

I popped into the Charleston trunk show at Furbish yesterday to check in with the über-talented ladies of the Novel. showroom; those ladies being Liza of Bon Vivant, Lauren of Library, Jane of Jane Pope Jewelry and artist Way Way Allen. Furbish was serving up White Whale cocktails and there was entirely too much amazingness. I mean, y'all see those "Hola" notecards ^^^, right? The gorgeous pale pink opal Jane Pope earrings are on my Christmas list, well, I guess they are my Christmas list. Lauren's gorgeous Library collection was on display AND you folks that couldn't make the show yesterday are SO fortunate, because you can shop her collection on Furbish today!!! Check out the pop-up here. Speaking of, you may have recently seen Way Way's Furbish pop-up, which was featured on the site a few weeks ago. Her warm, abstract paintings are so perfect for adding soft color to a room, check out more of her work on her gorgeous website here. In short, if you missed it, you missed out! :)

Vintage At Charlotte's

Hermès H Bracelet + Michael Kors Gold Watch
Already a mainstay for all of your jewelry and accessory needs, Charlotte's is now expanding its collection of luxury vintage......which is a major development for my shopping problem. Timeless Hermès belts and bracelets along with mint Louis Vuitton and Chanel handbags and travel pieces are available now! Every piece is in exquisite condition, some even look brand new. The thing that I love about classic vintage pieces is that they are really legacy pieces. You will always recognize the iconic LV, the interlocking Cs, the quilting. They can be handed down through generations. They have set a brand standard that is so high that vintage is sometimes coveted more than brand new. That's why the investment is worth it. The pieces stand up in any decade, and never look dated. They are begging to be styled for today. Below are just a few of the vintage pieces (along with some great styling ideas) that are in store right now, with many more to come. If you are on the hunt for a specific piece or want to hold anything contact either Charlotte's location.

On My List: Bissell & Blaise

Bissel & Blaise Chevron Ring
Bissell & Blaise Deco Chevron Ring
I was put on to Bissell & Blaise at a dinner with some family friends and I couldn't wait to share! This gorgeous fine jewelry line was launched in 2011 by two friends and native Southerners, Lindsay Bissell and Anna Blaise Dunbar. Their love of art deco design is apparent; I feel like their pieces are simultaneously vintage and modern. They also do custom! I really feel strong emotions towards the chevron ring (above). It's all gorgeous and really unique AND it's made in NYC. #USA Check out the full collection here. Can't wait to see what they do next!

The Woods At Vermillion

Look at this stuff! Isn't it neat? (Sorry.) But really, these are some of my favorite pieces from The Woods Fine Jewelry, which will be in-store at Vermillion tomorrow and Thursday. This earthy/rocker/chic line is designed by a pair of Aspen-based sisters, and should 100% be on your holiday wish list. They use a variety of high-end materials and diamonds to create a subtle, and (I would say) informal glamour. I want to see these jewels on Patti Hansen or her daughters-if that doesn't make sense, please click here. Head over to Vermillion this week to see these luxe lovelies in person!

Finn

Finn Jewelry. Love it. While I love large sparkly objects to adorn one's hands/neck/earbobs, I really, really love simplicity. In many ways I think there is a lot (more) to be said for really simple and understated shows of affection/commitment. (For example an infinity knot.) Finn is a really striking yet understated line. Simply styled, beautifully made-with just enough bling. Anyhoo-take a little peeksie. Never too soon to start the Christmas list!

Spiked

I like spikes. (Still.) I know the punk thing isn't new, but I still like the look. Especially the idea of the bracelets with something really prim or simple. My favorite use of spikes was Sienna Miller's headband at the Met Ball (see below). Hearts. This pair of bracelets from Hive & Honey is only $34. Great way to add the trend to your wardrobe.
