Healing

I don't have much commentary on yesterday's remembrance of the awful events a decade ago. I am sure each of us mourned and reflected in our own way. I will say this: I know that the construction of the memorial built on ground zero was a difficult and emotional process. I know that the design went through endless scrutiny and editing. I feel that the end result is exceptional. It is a moving reminder of all that we as a nation lost, and I hope that those cascading waters that flow into the beautiful abyss will somehow bring a sense of healing to a city that has suffered so much.
