Relax.

I'm unfortunately having a case of the Mondays. It's tragic. Listening to two of the most ill-behaved children wreaking havoc in our office this morning, dealing with the ineptitude of state bureaucracies, and it's COLD and dreary. Anyhoo, this has me thinking about my preferred methods of curing the grumpies. I wouldn't consider myself a candle person, but one of my all-time favorites is Tocca's Yma candle. It has notes of guava and currant, but to translate that-it smells fresh and sweet but not floral. I have them stashed all over in varying sizes. If I've lit one, it means I'm attempting some sort of zen situation. I also love a warm bath. I have three bubble bath suggestions, none fancy: Mr. Bubble (um, duh), Vitabath (because my grandmother, aunt, and mother have been brand loyal all my life and it smells like spring), and philosophy Field of Flowers 3 in 1 (because if you're feeling super lazy it can be shampoo and soap too). I then like to crawl into a pair of cozy PJs, I love the vintage-inspired set from J. Crew-it's classic and cozy. On a side note, I have an adult union suit from J. Crew that is completely absurd and makes me as happy as a puppy getting a tummy scratch. Finally, if my snuggie isn't available, I must wrap myself burrito-style in a blanky, like the Portuguese cotton blankets from Anchini shown below. Then close out the evening watching Frasier re-runs (sorry Camille) on the Hallmark channel, hopefully in a semi-blissful state.

  1. Thank you for some other informative web site. Where else may just I am getting that kind of information written in such a perfect method? I have a undertaking that I am simply now operating on, and I have been at the look out for such information.
