Holiday Gift Guide!

Proud Mary Diamante Bucket Bag, $72
The pompoms (seriously) are my obsession
I can't believe we're almost a week into December. It's so hard to believe. One of my favorite things about the holiday season is, biggest duh ever, the shopping. I think the spirit of the season is truly the most important thing, but giving someone a well-thought out gift that they love is just one of the best feelings! I've pulled some AMAZING gift ideas from some of my favorite people and places. If you have a significant other who may be lovely, but not the best shopper, point him in this direction. Happy shopping e'rybody!

Kenneth Jay Lane extravaganza. You cannot go wrong with KJL, it's all timeless and fun.
These are all available at Charlotte's in Raleigh. I've got the drop earrings in blue and they are insane.
Clockwise: Mojorca coverup, $433; the Acapulco, $270; the Tiki in black, $340; the  Marbella in white, $253
Marysia Swim is the perrrrfect gift for those unfortunate girls that are "wintering" somewhere. If you are heading for an island, you need one of these suits. My absolute fave is the red "Acapulco" ($270). Marysia's suits are so different and sexy while still being a bit retro and demure. (I only got 3 last summer.)

Clockwise: DVF Asami dress, $425, House of Harlow necklace, $135;  DVF travel mani/pedi kit (so FRIGGIN cute!), $40; DVF Ashley romper (in love), $365, House of Harlow necklace, $135; B-lo the Belt Harper Belt, $178
Gena Chandler just got some amazing DVF in, and really, how cute is the mani/pedi travel case? Great stocking stuffer, as well as some of their basics like Tolani scarves and Sheila Fajl hoops (which everyone needs at least one pair of). Another thing to check out there are the furs!

The Monkee's Raleigh girls are big on the "tech" (tech in the fashion sense of the word) gifts for the holidays. I love the Tory Burch iPad cases, $225, they are gorgeous but also pretty substantial. The Echo Design gloves-you can use them with your iPhone or iPod in the cold weather-come in a bunch of fun colors as well and are extraordinarily helpful, $32-42.

Van Jean strikes again, melting my heart with all of their faves. I love all of the Tory Burch accessories, they have some fabulous prints, and I LOVE the absolutely sick Loeffler Randall "Quinnie" leopard flats. I would not consider myself an animal print girl, but those are amazing. Lastly, they've created yet another designer fixation with Dannijo. The necklace (pictured a bit bigger below) is out of control, and through my investigative journalism I have found that I am obsessed with the entire line. So, add that to the list.

Dannijo "Medine" necklace
Vermillion goodies (clockwise): Celine tote, $2000, and colorblock clutch, $470;  Celine cobalt heels (I can't), $650; exclusive Vermillion Yarbie bangles, $65-95; newly added candle line Astier de Villatte, $75.
If you haven't seen the gorgeous Celine accessories in at Vermillion right now, I weep for you. The cobalt heels are simply stunning. And just as an FYI, I will be joining the Vermillion crew tomorrow for a sit-down with vintage jewel expert Ellen Carey with Carole Tanenbaum and a sneak peak of the trunk show. Talk about gift ideas.

Top to bottom: 14Kyellow gold Bubble Earrings, $240; Rock Crystal Pendant in 14K with diamond accent, $1595; and 14K yellow gold Double Hoop earrings, $735.
Next is a selection of some basics (well, depending on your definition of basics) from Hattie at Kiss the Ring. Hattie has uber-fabulous taste, and can essentially find or make anything your little heart desires jewel-wise. Below is a pair of earrings I commissioned this summer, diamond and amethyst, and look closely, they are inspired by little fishies! I think they are an amazing example of what Kiss the Ring can do. Contact them about any custom work you are looking for, they do it all.

And I'll close with my girls from II Brunettes! J Brands are never wrong; these are the Riviera Blue and fit like a glove. Awesome color to change things up, these will look good with just about any neutral. The ring is Virgin, Saints, and Angels; Leslie and Sarah Leigh introduced me to this brand several years ago-there is a turquoise rosary I have been coveting ever since. If you've never seen it it is a really cool and distinctive line. The yellow snake clutch is another great buy at $96, and honestly, I think I'd even do it with the J Brands. The color of the Rebecca Minkoff "Swing" bag, $396, is out of control.

I would fully expect more gift ideas over the next few weeks, but I feel that this is a good start.
