Belles of the Ball

Obsessed with this Vera Wang. It's only $276. Seriously.
Before I lived there, my knowledge of Savannah was mostly limited to the fact that they (at one point) dyed the river (and the beer) green  in honor of St. Patrick's day. I spent some time living in the historic district of Savannah, and was really surprised and delighted to find that Savannah is FULL of fashion, art, and music. Savannah is home to SCAD, the South's foremost arts and design college, and the school has been a vital source of life and creativity for the city. All these aspiring designers make Savannah a great place to be as a shopaholic fashion fan.

One of my favorite spots to get my fashion fix in Savannah is BleuBelle Boutique, run by owner Heather Burge, who is so sweet and has such a great eye for editing their fabulous selection. I think it's pretty safe to say that Heather really brought boutique shopping to Savannah. When I was in Savannah BleuBelle was on Broughton Street, right in the heart of the historic riverfront area of town; Heather has recently moved the store to a beautiful new space uptown in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center on Abercorn Street right next to her other venture BleuBelle Bridal (more on that another time). Heather stocks the store with some of my favorites: Milly, DVF, Tory Burch, Halston Heritage, Alice+Olivia, and sooo many more.

Heather and BleuBelle are also a very active part of the community; Heather is one of a panel of judges that selects the participants of SCAD's student fashion show, a huge production and draws a very legit fashion crowd to Savannah (Andre Leon Talley, thank you very much).

Love the white!
